Pakistan is a reality now and i think its high time that we forget the painful story of partition.Its time to move on. Thinking that, had sonia gandhi been at the helm of affairs at time would have meant no partition is a wishful thinking, nothing more.

No doubt Pakistan is a reality. But we can’t neglect the causes of the partition, rather we should dissect these causes again and again so that we could avoid any further partition of the country based on religious lines.

The root cause of the issue was that neither Jinnah, nor Nehru was ready to compromise on being the 1st Prime Minister. Both of them wanted this tag in front of their names. As a result, massive massacre took place along with the partition of the country.
